With beautiful illustrations by Kees de Kort, this book uses a translation in Pitjantjatjara of the Old Testament story from Genesis about the rivalry between twin brothers, Jacob and his elder brother, Esau. Esau, in a fit of impulsiveness, sold his birthright to Jacob for a meal. With his mother Rebekah’s help, Jacob tricked his father Isaac to receive the blessing meant for Esau. Jacob had to flee because Esau was enraged and planning revenge. In the end, instead of violence, Esau forgives his brother and they reconcile.
