With beautiful illustrations by Kees de Kort, this book uses a translation in Pitjantjatjara tells the story of Jesus healing a sick man. One day, a man who was paralysed was brought to Jesus by his friends. They weren’t able to reach Jesus because of the crowd, so they climbed into the roof, removed some of the roofing, and lowered their friend down to Jesus using some ropes. When Jesus saw the man, he forgave his sins, which shocked the religious leaders. So Jesus showed his power by commanding the man to get up, pick up his mat and walk. The man did as Jesus commanded, to the amazement of the crowd and religious leaders.
The story showed Jesus’s power to heal both in body and in spirit.
