(CBS) Noah-nya (Noah) Pitjantjatjara
With beautiful illustrations by Kees de Kort, this book uses a translation in Pitjantjatjara of the Old Testament story about a righteous man named Noah. God told Noah to that a great flood would destroy all life and instructed him to build an ark. God told Noah to bring his family and a male and female of every animal aboard the ark. Although Noah had a hard time believing God, he did as God had commanded him.
The rain came, just as God had said, and it flooded the earth, wiping out all living things outside the ark. After the waters receded, Noah sent out birds to find dry land. When land was found, Noah and his family left the ark and gave thanks to God. God made a new covenant with them that he would never destroy the earth by flood ever again. God sealed his promise with the sign of a beautiful rainbow.
